Immerse: Messiah

The very first affirmation of our denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church is the centrality of the Word of God. We believe that Scripture is the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct. This fall we are going to be immersing ourselves in Scripture through a series called… you guessed it: Immerse.

Immerse is designed to help communities experience the Bible together in a unique and powerful way. Each week, participants read the assigned reading on their own and then we will gather on Sunday mornings to have discussions where you can share your observations and questions based on the week’s reading. It is intentionally uncomplicated.

We invite you to join our 9:00am class on Sunday mornings for a time of facilitated conversation around where God has met you through His Word each week. We will begin Immerse in October and over the course of the fall and into the new year we will read the entire New Testament together. The 9:00am class will start a few weeks before that on September 13 and will help set the table for the Immerse series, but the actual series will begin in October.
