Our Community Supported Agriculture & Involvement With It!
Plans for our Community Supported Agriculture are on! As we’re forming what our garden will look like, there are specific hopes and dreams we want to sew into this project and our outreach. So we’d love as much of the community as possible to know and participate in those prayers!
Looking for a place to get rid of your fall leaves? Bring them to the church! They’ll be sheet composted, helping create each of our new garden beds! We’d love to have you chop up the leaves if you’re able, but either way, they need to remain bagged and placed in the coned area against the west side of the gym – please no trash or other compost right now.
If there’s anybody looking to donate their truck or tools for CSA use, it would be greatly appreciated! If you’re interested you could choose one of two options:
You could donate your object to the church, in which case it is tax deductible to you and even more beneficial to the church!
You could offer your truck or tool up in our new tool sharing program!
If you have quality hand or power tools that you almost never use yourself, you could essentially give it to the church for our regular use. If that once in a decade moment comes when you need to use that tool again, just write us and schedule a period of time when you can get it back! We’re like your extended garage!
If you have a truck that you want to offer up, we’ll of course assume that’s more for your regular use and schedule times with you of when we might need to borrow it for a project.
To participate in any of the above things, or for further inquiries surrounding our Community Supported Agriculture projects, email Erik Savig, our CSA Ministry Coordinator.
